This week I saw an article about a new Facebook Concept and how people, mainly those related to the web field, would love to see a new look and feel for the Social Network. Then I decided to feature some other Facebook redesign concepts I have seen out there. Check that out and share with us your thoughts!
Facebook’s design has been widely discussed among designers and users, and I’ve seen plenty of criticism: “Why is the design of Facebook’s desktop site so bad?”, “Facebook has a deeper problem than just Vine/Twitter”, “Do anyone else find Facebook to have an ugly design?”. Having reviewed some of the critiques, I decided to try giving it a facelift. What started as a fun side project eventually lead to the Facebook Flat Chrome extension.
More and more websites are taking advantage of the increasing popularity and development of higher resolution and full screen layouts to show it’s content with full effect. I believe that it’s about time for Facebook to step up the game by going full screen and replacing all the empty spaces with intuitively and signficant content.
The concept reached 20 Milion online views within the first week of launch with an estimated global press coverag of 50 Milion readers world wide.

I’m loving Google’s material design guidelines and thought I’d try out a refresh of everyone’s favorite social network..
